Day 1
Bienvenue! After arriving in Montpellier, you will be welcomed by your French Teacher Tour guide who will be accompanying you throughout your trip.
Get acquainted with the city through a guided walking tour where, you’ll learn about the canals, visit the fishing port and marvel at the street art. The tour is in French giving students a chance to practice listening and understanding.
Next, you’ll visit the Musee de la Mer. The museum traces the history of the port of Sete since the 18th Century and houses an extraordinary collection of model boats by André Aversa. Here, you’ll pick up some new vocabulary and get an understanding of Sete’s history.
It traces the history of the port of Sète since the 18th century, as well as various local traditions, such as the Jousts. The architecture of this museum pays homage to Le Corbusier.

Day 2
Start the day with a 3-hour classroom workshop where your teacher will set the scene for the day ahead.
Next up is a French TV series tour. You’ll be more than a viewer as you stroll through the filming locations of Demain Nous Appartient. Follow in the footsteps of the soap opera with your guide who will share why France is famous for its film culture. Your guided tour will be in French so it’s a great way for students to pick up some new key phrases.
After dinner, live like a local and play Petanque. This classic French game allows students to improve their technique whilst socialising and improving their language skills.

Day 3
Start the day with a trip to Les Halles food market where you’ll browse the fresh produce from fresh fish and locally grown fruit and vegetables. This is the perfect opportunity for your students to use their newly learned French skills and experience Sete’s culinary delights!
Next, your students will enjoy an improvisation theatre workshop where they’ll learn conversational techniques and practise speaking in French while thinking quick on their feet!
