Magical Winter at Hamn i Senja

Spend the morning at leisure to visit Tromso’s many attractions such as the Arctic Cathedral; Polaria Arctic aquarium; Polar Museum; cable car to Fjellstua for spectacular views; Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum and even its own brewery. In the afternoon take the express ferry which takes 1 hour 20 minutes o Finnsnes. You will be met and transferred to Hamn i Senja in time for dinner.

This morning depart on a boat trip in the scenic archipelago of the fjord where steep, majestic mountain dive straight into the sea. Just outside Hamn we pass a cormorant colony and often glimpse sea eagles. The knowledgeable guides will tell you about the wildlife and stories about the life in this area. Return to the hotel for lunch, This afternoon relax in the sauna and outdoor hot tub with a 360 degree panoramic view towards the idyllic Bergsfjord and surrounding mountains. After dinner (2 course) return to the Lighthouse, keep watch for the aurora and enjoy a hot drink.

After breakfast, transfer back to Finnsnes to connect with the Hurtigruten or Havila coastal boat departing at 11.30am. Arrive in Tromso at approximately 14.15 and check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay before spending the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city.  

Explore the city at leisure or if time permits perhaps enjoy an optional excursion before making your way to the airport (payable locally) for your flight home.
