After breakfast you’ll head back to the airstrip for your short flight back to San Jose. From here it’s a scenic 90 minute private transfer to the beautiful Bajos del Toro area. Today’s included adventure is a 2-hour hike along the edge of the lava fields near Arenal Volcano. At the Arenal 1968 Park you’ll learn about the volcano’s history and its wildlife. You’ll take in spectacular views of the volcano, lake, and Tilaran Mountains. Later head back to your lodge and enjoy the on-site hot springs. There’s even a wet bar so you can enjoy a cocktail or two while taking advantage of the pool’s restorative thermal properties.
