Whale and Dolphin Cruise, Uvita

Cruise into the protected waters of the Marino Ballena National Park. This marine reserve features rocky shorelines, caves, mangroves and one of the region’s largest coral reefs. It’s rich in marine life, including acrobatic dolphins and tropical fish which can be seen year-round.

But the main draw are the humpbacks which migrate to the area to breed each year; with northern hemisphere whales arriving December to early March, and whales from the south seen July to October. During your cruise you’ll have a chance to witness these incredible cetaceans with their young, as well as spotting pelagic birds and marine wildlife.

You’ll also see numerous islets, remote beaches, and ancient sea caves. If time permits you can snorkel over pristine coral for a glimpse of the abundant life below the ocean’s surface.
