Snowmobiling on Vatnajokull Glacier

Introduction

Take a thrilling snowmobile journey on Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajokull, departing from Skalafell, just east of the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon.

Drive across the snow-covered plateau with remarkable views over peaks and mountains.

Clothing (overalls and boots) and safety helmet provided.  Dress warmly and don’t forget your camera!

Includes third party insurance.  In the event of damage to the snowmobile the driver accepts responsibility to pay for repairs.  Drivers must hold a valid licence and be able to show it on request
