Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano Hike

Set out on foot with your guide through the dense rainforest of Tenorio Volcano National Park to reach the magical Rio Celeste and its cascading waterfall, shimmering in vivid hues of blue. Surrounding you is a rich tapestry of flora and fauna, adding to the raw natural beauty of this special corner of Costa Rica.

You’ll continue your hike towards the Tenorio Volcano lookout point, also passing a beautiful azure lagoon, natural hot springs and the Teñideros: where two streams of crystalline water come together to create the heavenly colour that gives the river its name.
