The Columbia Glacier is the fastest moving glacier in Alaska, releasing tons of ice daily into the ocean and the massive icebergs surrounding your vessel as you maintain a safe distance from the glacier face, are a chilling reminder of nature’s thundering power.

The wildlife in the area is abundant, including sea lions, sea otters and several species of whale and are frequently spotted while cruising the area. An expert guide is on hand to answer questions, but also to teach guests about the history of the area, which, despite its apparent isolation, had a key role in mining, oil, shipping and the fisheries.
