Introduction

An internationally renowned area of vineyards, the Barossa Valley is your first stop this morning on the journey from Adelaide.

You will probably have sampled Jacobs Creek before, but on a stop in their winery you will be greeted with a tempting morning tea, before the tour commences, ending off with a tasting of some of their finest vintages. From here, you will continue on to Mengler’s Hill Lookout, providing incredible views over the Barossa, before making your way to the Saltram Wine Estate at Angaston.

Here, you will learn all about Saltram’s 150 year history and taste some of their wide selection of quality wines, straight from the cellar door. The South Australian Company Store and Kitchen will be delighted to serve lunch, before you go to Hahndorf. Adelaide’s older German settlement, you will have free time here to explore the myriad of shops and galleries where local arts, crafts and produce can be purchased.

The tour will conclude in Adelaide at approximately 5:15pm.
