Join us on a Polar Adventure

Delve into the wonders of exploring the Polar regions on an expedition cruise at an exclusive in-person travel evening with us and Quark Expeditions.

We’re thrilled to host this event at the former residence of Gilbert White, an 18th-century naturalist who inspired Charles Darwin. This charming property, now a museum, features the Oates Collection with Antarctic artefacts from Captain Lawrence Oates, a pivotal member of Scott’s ill-fated Terra Nova expedition to the South Pole.

Choose to make a day of it exploring the 25 acres of grounds and free entry to the house and museum. Or just join us for the evening. Savour welcome drinks and canapés while mingling with Polar experts before listening to captivating talks from travel writer Will Gray and award-winning author Mike Unwin. A Q&A session with our expert panel will follow giving you the chance to pose your questions.

  • Free entry (normally £19.50) to Gilbert White’s House and Gardens, available to enter anytime on 3rd September to explore at your leisure.
