Found in the city centre of Sortland, close to restaurants and shopping facilities, this 50-room hotel is surrounded by Langoya Island’s stunning mountains and piercing fjords.

An easy area to explore on your own, this is a marvellous base while travelling through this archipelago and day trips can be arranged throughout Lofoten on fishing, hiking and whale-watching excursions, as well as journeys into the narrow Troll Fjord.

The hotel’s restaurant serves typical Norwegian dishes based on the fresh ingredients that are available locally, and so the menu changes with the seasons.

The bar serves a combination of cold and hot beverages and is a lovely place to enjoy a couple of drinks before going out to witness the midnight sun or northern lights. The rooms all include TVs, and free wifi, while some also include a kettle and refrigerator.
