Finnish Houseboats

Introduction

Based at Heinola harbour in Central Finland, renting a houseboat gives you flexibility to explore the beautiful Finnish lakes at your leisure.

The Houseboats come in three categories – Standard, Spa and Deluxe and can sleep up to 8 guests. With a private sauna, comfortable interior, terrace area and barbecue you have everything needed for a relaxing summer break.

No special license or prior experience is required to drive a houseboat and comprehensive instructions will be given when you arrive.  The on board navigation system makes it easy to explore.  It is also possible to rent bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards and even small motor boats so you can have fun outdoors in the wonderful nature.

Standard Houseboat
Ideal for couples and small families this Houseboat sleeps up to 4 people. It has one bedroom with double or twin beds; open plan living area with a sofa bed; small kitchenette with fridge, stove, kettle and coffee machine; bathroom with shower; sauna and terrace area with furniture and barbeque.

Spa Houseboat
Similar to the Standard Houseboat the Spa Houseboat has the addition of a hot tub on the back terrace.

Deluxe Houseboat
The largest and highest quality, ideal for larger families or group of friends. There is the option for six or eight berth boats. The six berth has two double bedrooms, the eight berth has either a double or twin beds in the main bedroom and bunk beds for four in the second bedroom; living area with sofa bed; kitchenette as above plus freezer, microwave and dishwasher; terrace with furniture and barbeque; sun deck; bathroom with shower and separate sauna.
