Fransiskus Hotel

Introduction

Located right by the harbour in Stykkisholmur on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Hotel Fransiskus is the site of an original monastery, hospital and chapel founded by three catholic nuns in the 1930’s. Today only the chapel remains and the other parts of the building have been converted into a modern hotel.

Fransiskus hotel offers modern rooms featuring soft colours and a cosy atmosphere with each of them featuring a flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
